My kids love this cake and especially red velvet with a combination of this and the attractive red and green sprinkles snowflakes. I know that there are no errors when I make a cake this Christmas. I'll use my imagination and incorporate green food color and cool whip so I'd get beautiful color for this Red Velvet Christmas Cake poke. This Christmas Red Velvet cakes poke poke Cake is red velvet base that you can create a very quick and easy with just a few ingredients cake mix 1 box red velvet, vanilla instant pudding mix 2 small boxes, milk, cool whip and sprinkles. Believe me, it is very easy.

MATERIALS
For the cake:
- 1 box red velvet cake mix (the ingredients needed to make a cake-eggs, oil & water)
For the filling:
- 2 3.4 oz box Vanilla instant pudding mix
- 4 cups milk
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- Green food coloring
- For garnish:
- Red sprinkles, optional
- Green sprinkles, optional
- Snowflakes and white chocolate curls, optional
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees f. butter a 9-x-13 "pan and sprinkle with flour.
- Prepare cake mix as directed.
- Pour into the prepared baking pan and Bake until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean, about 25 minutes.
- Remove the cake from the oven
- Using the back of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the cake.
- Combine milk and pudding mix Instant vanilla and stir until well mixed.
- Pour pudding cake making sure it gets into the hole.
- Refrigerate the cake for a few hours to allow the pudding to complete and organize
- To make the topping, mix heavy cream until soft peaks form, add green coloring (add a few drops at a time, the desired color) and stir to combine
- The Green spread the topping evenly over the cake and sprinkle with white chocolate curls and red, green and snowflake sprinkles
- Chill until ready to serve
Note: to make white chocolate curls, use a potato peeler to shave curls from blocks or bars of white chocolate
